1. Cos'è IndieLift||PH||{"IndieLift":"IndieLift"}

IndieLift ("we", "us") is a cross-promotion platform for authors, available at getindielift.com. Authors promote each other's books and share advance copies with readers. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to use IndieLift.
• You may hold one account. Sign in with Google or email is supported.
• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure.
• Information you provide, including any retailer reviewer profile you link, must be yours and accurate.

3. Credits

IndieLift tracks two kinds of credit. Click credit reflects readers you send to other authors' books through tracked links. Read credit reflects advance copies you finish and respond to through the platform. Credits determine how the platform distributes promotion. About credits:

• Credits are earned through activity on the platform. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred, or exchanged.
• Credits have no monetary value and are not redeemable for cash or anything outside the service.
• We may adjust credit amounts, remove credits obtained through fraud or manipulation, and change how the credit system works. Where reasonable we will announce significant changes in advance.
• Credits may expire or decay. Any such rules are published in the product before they apply.

4. Membership and paid plans

Joining may require a one-time membership fee, which exists to keep automated and duplicate accounts out of the community. It is not refundable once you have used the service, except where law requires otherwise. An optional subscription, when available, changes how much credit your own giving earns and your odds in the weekly rotation. Your Boost queue capacity is earned through giving and is never sold. Paid plans never sell guaranteed placement, readers, or reviews. Payments will be processed by Polar, our merchant of record, and are also subject to Polar's terms. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time and remain active until the end of the paid period.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you upload, including books, covers, blurbs, and images. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and process that content to operate the service. This includes generating promotional images from your cover and book details, delivering advance copies to readers you make them available to, and, if we add it, embedding identifying marks in those copies. You confirm you hold the rights needed to upload your content, including any distribution rights limited by exclusivity agreements such as Kindle Unlimited. Books enrolled in exclusivity programs should use the sample option we provide.

6. Reviews

Reviews on retailer sites are always voluntary. IndieLift never pays, credits, requires, or rewards posting a public review anywhere, and you must not either. In particular:

• You may not exchange reviews with other users or condition anything on receiving a review.
• You may not attempt to influence what a reader writes, or retaliate against a reader for an honest review.
• Readers who review a book they received free should disclose that, for example: "I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy."
• You must follow the review policies of any retailer you post on, including Amazon's Community Guidelines.

Authors may report fraudulent activity evidence, such as a submitted link that is not a review of their book. Reports are reviewed by us. Misusing reports against honest reviews violates these terms.

7. Advance copies

Advance copies are provided for your personal reading in connection with the platform. You may not share, republish, sell, or upload them anywhere. Downloads happen through links tied to your account, we record which account downloaded which copy, and access may expire.

8. Fair play

These actions violate the terms and can lead to credit removal, suspension, or a ban:

• Generating artificial clicks by bots, click farms, paid click services, or self-clicking schemes.
• Claiming boosts you did not perform, or submitting altered evidence.
• Rejecting legitimate boosts or filing false reports.
• Operating multiple accounts or coordinating accounts to farm credit.
• Claiming advance copies without intending to read them.
• Uploading content you do not have rights to, or content that is unlawful.
• Scraping the service or misusing other users' data.

9. Third parties and affiliate links

Tracked links may point to retailer sites such as Amazon. Links on our own pages may carry affiliate tags; where they do, the page says so, and IndieLift earns from qualifying purchases as an Amazon Associate. Retailer sites have their own terms and we are not responsible for them.

10. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on IndieLift infringes your copyright, email hello@getindielift.com with the work, its location on the service, your contact details, and a statement of good-faith belief. We remove infringing content and terminate repeat infringers.

11. No guarantees

We do not guarantee clicks, readers, reviews, sales, or any particular result. Exposure guarantees described in the product, such as rotation timing, are service features and depend on community activity. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or 50 USD if you paid nothing. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for actions of other users or retailers.

13. Ending the relationship

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, harm other users, or create legal risk for the service. Ledger records needed for the integrity of the credit system may be retained after account deletion in de-identified form.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. For significant changes we will give notice in the product or by email before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where IndieLift's operator is established. Questions: hello@getindielift.com.
